Established in 1912, Mount Pleasant is a neighbourhood in the Northwest quadrant of Calgary. One of Calgary’s older communities, Mount Pleasant is located conveniently close to the downtown and many other amenities. The community is bordered by 16th Avenue to the south, Confederation Park to the north, 10th Street to the west and 2nd Street to the east.

Both 4th street and 16th avenue offer a small selection of local shops and restaurants situated within Mount Pleasant’s boundaries. The location of Mount Pleasant supplies residents with a variety of shopping choices including the North Hill Shopping Centre and an abundance of unique shops just minutes away in Kensington.

The area offers plenty of opportunities for recreation with the Mount Pleasant community centre outdoor pool, skating rink and Confederation Park. Conveniently located nearby are the University of Calgary and SAIT, while the downtown core can easily be accessed from 10th avenue.

Mount Pleasant homes consist mostly of single family homes. There are also a large number of condos and some duplexes.
